The authentic Hamilton Standard DC-3 Prop is a big piece of shiny metal, when compared with the other props in our collection.While the other props feature a diameter of 180 cm to 225 cm, the Prop arc / diameter of this 3 blade original is 360 cm.
When standing as a Mercedes star on 2 blade tips on the floor, it still reaches a height of over 270 cm (9 feet).
For mounting on a wall (interior or exterior), we have converted this prop by removing all heavy pitch control gears, and created a sturdy backplate with 3 holes to anchor it to a wall. Considering the weight of over 160 kgs. or 350 lbs, the wall must have sufficient strength to support this weight.
