AvionArt was founded in 1998 by 2 partners,
both having a long lasting relation with Piston
Props in general and the Douglas Dakota
DC-3/ C-47 in particular.
This plane was designed in the mid 30-ies and
flew just before the war with most of the main
American Carriers, and overseas KLM was a
dedicated customer, having successfully operated
a fleet of its predecessor the DC-2 from the early thirties. |
